Played in the Mickey Mouse cup the other year against completely ran the show not sure how fit he is for the wage he will be wanting

 

She's getting on a bit but still looks quite fit.

 

Which team did he play for in the Mickey Mouse Cup.

 

Was it Blackpool??

 

He played for Stoke Dave, strangely our German goalkeeper had an outstanding game continually making great saves from Charlie Adam.

 

Now I remember the U21/23 squads were allowed an over aged player in the team, and as @Park bantam said he did run the show blasting shots in from well out but he was rebounded for his long range goals I believe.

 

Is this a rumor or something you’ve picked out of a hat?

 

Interview posted on social media with Ryan being interviewed and he says a couple more have already signed new contacts but have not yet been announced. Further says others have had offers from league one and the championship and they're still to decide.

 

That just screams Vernan and Paudie....

 

He was two classes above in the match against Stoke a very good player but I am not sure about his fitness

 

More likely to be Watt if there is a championship team interested

 

Yeah I'd say Watt is the only player likely to garner championship interest based on potential alone. None of the others are anywhere near that level.

 

Watt is the one I am most worried about replacing. He is central to the way Hughes wants to play. It was noticeable when he didn't play.

 

If I had to guess based on what Sparks said:

Watt: championship, club would most likely take a cheap punt and see if he develops. More than worth the risk for them.

Paudie: league one, middle to upper league one team as a squad player.

Vernam: league one, lower league one such as Lincoln as has been rumoured. Most realistic to get straight into first 11 out of the 3.

I’d say Wood and Hendrie have signed the deals with Sutton still hoping for a better offer, I’m presuming on his lack of match time under Hughes that his offer wasn’t great.

Can’t remember if we’ve offered anyone else a deal, but if I had to make a prediction the above is how I read it.

 

I'd be surprised if Watt and Paudie would be happy with that. They went out on loan and then left Wolves & Leeds early, rather than play under 23's. If they were happy sitting in the stand they'd have stayed put.

 

Very true but we didn't have anyone to replace him. If he goes and I think he has to, to continue his development, we will sign a replacement for that position.
