Unfortunately Threlkelds barely made the box, it is a useful weapon used right but not really my kind of football playing for set pieces and throws. Songo’o dominated a physical Sutton side and likes to put his body about so you’re probably right. No doubt if Wrexham come up they will spend, we’ll see what they’re like then but I wasn’t impressed tbh that said national league clubs very rarely struggle when making the step up but I imagine they’d have to try play a bit more football. Challinors Hartlepool looked good at VP early season, so imagine he’d get Stockport playing some good stuff.

Lincoln have a 4 year old three pitch training ground, a gym, and a small office.

THEY DONT HAVE A SWIMMING POOL.

It's actually a sports ground that belongs to a school. There is a difference.

It used to belong to my dad's old employers, International Harvesters, during the late 1960's and early 1970's.

I used to go to my dad's companies sports days every year, also drove the tractors on clean up days, the day after the big open day.

 

Oh the memories, let’s make some more next season.

I love to moan as much as anyone on here, but part of the magic of football and supporting your local lower league and often failing club is there’s always next season and when the good times come along they taste that bit sweeter.

You are completely ignoring expense like our stadium costs at £1.2m a season. Bigger turnover doesnt mean bigger budget...

 

I'm sure it is doable but the question is, do we really want to keep hold of a player that in their heart, doesn't want to be here? I think we will have offered him a decent deal but if his heart isn't in it, better for all concerned if we just move on. He's a good player but he isn't irreplaceable.

 

When Bradford is the alternative....
