Doubt that. May have offeted him a solid deal and thats as far as it went. Take it or leave it. He wasnt the type of player to add a further grand on a week for.

I'm being facetious. I'm not really bothered about Paudie leaving - I'm just saying that Sparks bullish statements don't seem to hold water. The 3 players we want to keep, and have made offers for, have either left or look like leaving.

It’s his job to spin the “positive”. Much better than doom and gloom perhaps? Certainly is in my book.

 

Paudie has gone we move on. I wish him well , but he was part of the defence other the past three years that has been extremely average . He was not worth splashing the cash to keep in my opinion.

You certainly wouldn't grumble with Platt and Odusina starting the first game.

 

Did I miss the announcement Sparks said we were going to make in the offseason a while back? I think it was to do with our academy or training ground but I can't find anything on it, or was it to do with the transfer window?

 

He said Academy facilities were being upgraded so we had the option of moving up an Academy level?

 

The Hartlepool lad was excellent when we played them away.
