Zanzala's contract at Barrow cancelled by mutual consent and inevitably we get linked to him on one of those EFL 'ITK' accounts. Probably nothing in it, but Jamie Raynor has tweeted 'a very good L2 forward imo.....'
Hopefully he isn't hinting he knows something

I like Zanzala, the lad has the potential to have one of those crazy seasons where he bangs goals in the right side. Would prefer him to Miller.

 

Sparks confirmed he turned us down in January 2021. Didn't want to join us in a relegation battle.

His record speaks enough for me. 21 goals in 7 seasons. Havent we signed enough shite with records that bad....bad enough for a winger, never mind a 'centre forward'.

 

How about dylan bahamboula he is a free agent had a poor season but has looked dangerous in the past

We were told (by them) that the massive Barrow beat us to his signature, remember... Now he's had his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

I think we'll only sign a player like him if Vernam leaves otherwise we're well stocked in that role I'd say.

Another more central forward is probably on the cards but it feels like we're in a bit of period where holidays and multiple offers on players are really slowing the market.

Seems to have slipped under the radar. Thats an incredible amount fot a CM. If yoi want to win this league you need goals from all over the pitch.

 

He would be amazing competition for Walker, but think he'll be destined for a club where he'll be a guaranteed starter.

 

Didn't Sparkie say that he'll be looking to use the loan market? If that's the case, perhaps we won't see so much early signings (for the first team) until all the other clubs have done the merry go round of their own signings. Especially higher up, when they seem to take an age to decide who to let out on loan.

 

I think we're in that period where the impactful, first choice starting 11 players have got multiple offers and we're fighting with others a bit to get them in. Things may be quite for a week or two.

 

We've already used it for Harratt, and potentially will for Dion if he returns. I can't see us going for more than another 1 or 2 loans above that, and feel there is more urgency at this stage to get 2 or 3 permanent signings in of real quality and experience to compliment the potential of the younger lads.

Already got Harratt and probably Perriera but not until later in July if at all from sound of things.

The CB and CM rumoured will be permanents. Think our business almost concluded then. Maybe a RB if we can shift on Threlkeld.

Not sure we sign another CF. Although we seem to lack wide men. Not sure if Young is viewed as a WG or CF.

 

I think potentially there could be a fair few out the door. Threlkeld the obvious one but also rumours Ridehalgh could be returning to Tranmere, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Kelleher or Cook move on, or Songo'o returning to Morecambe.
