    I’m happy with us having a leaner squad, the last time we didn’t have a bulky squad was probably our last Wembley season. I put the bloated squads down to Rahic at first but we’ve been doing it ever since he left.

    Without sounding to much like Park I think every player deserves a fresh start next season. Hopefully our coaching will improve, plus importantly fitness and a few quality players in the remaining 7 to sign. With all that plus hopefully a more balanced team we’ll see some good improvements from those that weren’t at the races previously. Plus lower league players are always inconsistent, look at Marshall with us a poor season doesn’t mean it’ll be replicated next, like wise a good season.

    At this level a fit, balanced team with a few quality players is all you need.

    It appears to me that it's more akin to rearanging the deckchairs on the Titanic. It's not the fundamantal change which I was expecting after some of last season's performances and what Sparks alluded to. Just one of the staff has left.

    They have restructured the entire backroom fitness group and Ben Rome has left. Looks like the head of performance and sports scientist are the fitness guru's
