Because, in true bantam talk fashion, he's already been tried and convicted of his future offences.

And all by the same people that also break the law by driving over the speed limit.

Certainly not as potentially devastating as drink driving but still illegal and can still cause fatalities all the same.

That was spun as his take home pay to make it sound lower. Not his actual pay.

Maybe you should do a bit of research before dismissing others out of hand. A bit of a sanctimonious post that and very wide of the mark.

Norwoods pay was disclosed at £4,100 as his TAKE HOME PAY. After income tax and NI contributions - get a calculator out but its not far shy of £7,000 a week.

Theres ya back up to the claim - end of the article.

I remember Robbie Blake being suspended by the club in 1997 for drink driving, but later returned to help get us to the Prem!

Beagrie beat the shit out his partner. Still fawned upon as a legend by some. Jamie Lawrence another. Armed robbery once upon a time.

    Double standards eh.

Harsh on Jamie. He was very very young and wasnt a professional footballer at the time. He learned his lesson and became a model citizen, helps other to avoid the path he took. No comment on Beagrie, but Jamie is a very good example of how to turn your life around from being a sheep to being a leader.

That’s why Ipswich were in the do do. They tried to buy their way out of the CC year after year after year.

£100m in debt. Current owner paid £20million for the club after the old owner Evans waived , yes waived, £80 m the club owed him

Locally they are said to be debt free, but offloading players on daft sums ASAP . Trouble is nobody wants them on those silly salaries. Norwood case in point?

Im not drawing issue. Just pointing out. Mistakes happen.

Suppose Norwood is a bit raw as recent

Bobby Campbell was no Saint either. I suppose it’s where you draw the line. We’ve had plenty who were going nuts and threatening to boycott the club when there was talk of Ched Evans signing. Now there’s people saying they wouldn’t sign a drunk driver. Probably the same people who were cheering Grealish last month.

I still listen to Michael Jackson. Not R Kelly though, can’t stand him.

Sounded like he was a bit short and almost annoyed at her line of questioning. It was just a cut and paste job full of cliched questions. I got annoyed after a few minutes.

I like a beer I got done for drink driving at 18, 18 month ban 200 quod fine and I'm glad I got caught.

Never done it again , was stupid but I did it a learned from it .

    Maybe he'll do the same

He said at the moment it will be one in but if they can get “good deals” maybe two. Might have to compromise on type of player he wants. And the choice of player might be influenced by injuries

You live and learn mate .

I'm glad I got caught instead of injuring anyone .
Only did it once and spent 18th birthday in a cell .

    Lesson learnt !!@

Ooo, harsh Sergio. For me, Jamie Lawrence is a prime and positive example of what happens when people give you a chance in life to turn things around. If I remember rightly, his time in prison was before he became a full time footballer and then he grabbed the opportunity to become a disciplined and talented player, and a role model for many. With all of his mentoring and coaching since finishing his playing career, he's put a heck of alot back into the game.
