    That is right. He has his ideas that so far have been successful in this division. We shouldn't moan at his signings before they have had a chance to perform within his team. Go back 12 months, If we had signed Tom Clark we would have been shouting about making the division's top signing.

    Vincelot was about 5'8 or something, but still won the majority of his headers in defence.

    Sounds strange to say, but if I recall correctly Vincelot acted as the primary CB. Maybe I'm wrong on that one.

    In any event, Vincelot and NKP only played together for the first part of the season, then McArdle came in, and later Kilgallon. That's right, isn't it? But yeah, I remember they kept a fair few clean sheets that season at the beginning, which led to some thinking Vincelot was better there than in midfield.

    That could quite easily be the situation can't see a problem, they take their chance as and when it becomes available, be that as a late sub or as you say because of injury, also on the training ground where a lot of the decisions are made with regards team selection.

    True, he played for Morecambe who were in the same division as us, and he now plays for Tranmere who are in the same division as us.

    Out of order its a football forum don't talk daft.

    Why would Adams allow a player you think is unimportant to come to the club surely he believes any signing will benifit the squad.

    Every team needs back up, if they're unlikely to play, the cheaper the better; but you still need back up.

    Of course teams need back up/competition and the player signing will know about the quality he will be competing against.
    I don't think any club would bring any player in as back up and be happy if he doesn't play, they are wanting that player to step up when given the opertunity.
