Summer 2021 Transfers

Weve lacked a combative midfielder for years. He could well be our best signing - in that someone of that style is much needed.

We are still 5/6 short but I see absolutely no negatives if he signs. Ticks a lot of boxes.

 

He's a decent signing and better than Sutton so an improvement but yes we are 5/6 players short.

We need a quality keeper, forwards.

So who do we think going to be first player to have meeting with adams…..when pre season starts Evans going to do a Vaughan??

Cook was identified by Turnbull before Adams. Eisa worked with Turnbull at Scunthorpe.

Turnbulls job is to identify players. Not sign them. Thats up to Sparks and Adams.

Dont be fooled, Eisa and Cook have Turnbulls sticky paws all over them. Threlkeld and Songo'o are players Adams identified.

 

I think you will see Sutton blossom even more with established “proper” enforcer midfielders round him. He was trying to do everything in the middle last year because of weaknesses of those around him?

 

Go back to crying about the lack of transfers and Sparks ballsing it all up or alternatively you could go and grow up fella

The one signing I really hope we do make is Orsi-Dadomo. About time we picked up a player on the up in their career and the usual one coming for a last pay day or that no one else wants.

I liked Sutton at rightback. He gave us energy and an attacking threat down that right hand side.

His positioning and awareness was poor at times but if he's played there with a protected back 4 he could definitely be effective.

 

I think you are quoting the very, very obvious. The manager signs off on players. Turnbull identifies them. Turnbull identified Cook and Eisa, Adams signed off on them.

Im not disagreeing, im simply saying Turnbull had a hand in two signings.

Again, identifying is his job. Adams is to sign them.

 

Interesting reading comments about Yann - Scunthorpe fans rate him as very poor, but Morecambe rate him as excellent...

Should he sign as has been promised on here, I hope we get the Morecambe version!
