It was. We happened by chance to be in the same hotel, and ended up going into the party. It helped that a mate of mine was fairly well known at VP for doing graphics work and what not for them.

In all honesty over the 45 mins or so we chatted a lot of info was discussed about ER and it certainly didn't sound out of character for the free bar to be cancelled at short notice.
As for belittling another poster you should read the original response from them. I was more than entitled to respond in the way I did.

 

Possibly, I'm not that interested to go that far back. I was just giving my view on why he responded how he did.
