Your loyalty to Stuart is well documented but to suggest any manger could have worked under ER and ultimately succeeded is bizarre. Immediately after the final defeat to Millwall ER cancelled the free bar at the players hotel. No one could work under that sort of "support".

That's fine Northern. The staff had to go through Edin, who was in complete day to day control as we now know. Hence people were got rid of. If they had gone to Stefan individually then they were in fear of their jobs. Not sure there was an independent whistle blower policy within the club. Like Bronco said, I got email address after asking from a PM and emailed. Got no response. What did you try and do?

What's that got to do with whether Mason or Abbotthad the ability and means to contacte Rupp or not?

As I posted on the original ER thread I personally know an ex city player on the books at that time and he told me. @Steve1970 you must feel rather silly now.
He also told me about literally being called into ER's office one day and asked why he hadn't been in sooner to show some sort of reverence.
He also told me about Jake Reeves injury and where it was exactly and that various operations hadn't had the desired effect.

I hate Edin as much as the next man, but the free bar wasn’t cancelled. This is a fact. Mainly because I was there and partook.

What about it? I was relaying an ex city players comments in a 45 minute chat with him. If he lied its his downfall not mine. Clutch at straws somewhere else. You may get lucky.

 

Did you not read the reply properly then? You picked me up on saying there was only 1 method of communication to Rupp and that was via Edin. That was posted here ages ago...NOBODY could speak to Stefan, they had to go through EDIN. They couldn't go directly under fear of being sacked because Stefan knew what he knew from Edin. If Mason could have influenced Rupp I'm sure he would have done it but read the stories on here, WOTP, T&A, Heart Of The Matter and make a proper judgement. Why did he leave his dream job?

 

You've posted something been pulled by Wetherby as to where it came from then by Ricc who went and you still won't admit to being a fantasist. Is that you Edin are you back?

@Ricc Out of genuine interest how did you manage to get to the free bar. Thought it was for players and families only.

 

I just find it very funny that after all this time you come forward with that non story when at the time Edin could do no wrong and you was one of a few posters who said we all had an agenda against him when a few posted what turned out to be the truth. Some of us don't forget so easily.

Nope but what was your fault is that you used that information to try and belittle another poster and their views. Perhaps a lesson for next time you get told something that you realistically have no idea if it's actually true or not.
