It's debatable whether Raeder 'got worse as the season progressed'. We were fishing in the out of contract pool as Doyle got injured.

Banks recommended Doyle as he'd worked with him at Blackpool.

Hopkin's decision to release Banks, and is expected to be appointing a new assistant manager

 

According to Pulse Banks sacked as Hopkin wanted to bring his own men in, let's hope it's the start of a new area football wise if he brings all his own backroom staff in.

 

Despite my reservations about Hopkin, I would certainly welcome a long overdue shake up of coaching staff, staff that our manager wants. Should always be the case

Not making light of his current illness, but at present I wouldn’t have thought the club could be in a position to ‘sack’ him - they’d be putting themselves in an extremely perilous position.

 

Never quite got my head round why anyone needs a goal keeping coach always thought money would be better spent on a forward coach.

 

All a forward has to do is kick it in the goal.

Maybe we can spend more on forwards and just play goalie when?
