As far as I know Edin is still away today and possibly missing next Saturday, if so his return will be the Cup game at Shots.

 

Half term is only a week in most places? Two occasionally.
What kind of LEADER disappears from view when the going gets tough?

 

Him not being here actually takes the heat out of the situation, if the players don’t perform today its them that should be getting it in the neck not Rahic. About time they did their job and stood up to be counted, they keep getting away with it because the anger is aimed at Rahic.
Show some balls and do the job you’re paid to do, that goes to the lot of them.

 

I think it's highly embarrassing and disrespectful to a club of our size that Rupp has hardly seen us. He has no interest in the club it seems.

Didn't we finish in the play off final two seasons ago. Where are the players from that now?

Mate, Edin and Rupp have tried to do this on the cheap. Cut wages etc. It's not the players fault we're bottom.

Collins was shi&e and Hopkin is also shi&e at the minute. Grayson was a joke. 3 poor managers in 10 months.

It’d be novel to see our defenders trying to defend for once. Instead of acting like front of house staff, cordial welcoming guests in for a feast.

Maybe the midfielders could try midfielding.

And who knows, for shits and giggles our attackers could attack.....

Oh well, another chance for the lads today to show what they are made of. Two struggling sides, same as when we played Rochdale, no excuses really. Play like we have been doing and we'll be coming back with nothing.

Correct, but I think the disaster with our coaching set up, pre season and actually knowing what the plan was and who sanctioned the majority of our summer recruitment are all important factors to take into account. Some, on paper do look ok, but there is also a lot of inexperience in the squad, we do have injuries (albeit we have struggled all season when more were available) , but clearly it isn't enough with much more fundamental issues in the background. Both coaching sets ups are struggling to mould our recruits into a competative side and one that looks like winning games.

I hope they try to keep it tight today and try and get something, even a point might be some crumb of positivity to build on. We obviously need to start winning pretty soon though.

 

I can’t disagree with any of that Fordy, but its time the players took the blame.

I could go on and on. Point is the players are poor and it's the Abbott and Edin's fault mainly.

The players are trying but sometimes in life trying isn't good enough.

We spent sod all and the week after, McCall was sacked.

What a really daft thing to say. Look at the players that have left and then look at the players who replaced them. It’s really not rocket science to see that a squad on the verge of promotion was dismantled, why?! Build on what you have. You don’t need a business degree to work this out. The current crop of players are shit and that’s not their fault when a contract is handed to them. Bit of sense is needed here.

 

Whoa hold your horses, engage brain for a minute. Where have i said that what has gone on since Wembley hasn’t been anyrhing short of disgraceful? This club is being run by a buffoon who has systematically run this club to the bottom of the division. But the players aren’t blameless in this, neither is Hopkin. They are professional even if the club currently aren’t.
Time to show us they have balls by taking three points against a rival who aren’t really any better than we are.
