But it is an option for the likes of Reeves, Jones, McCarton, Akpan. Mellor,Riley, O'Connor,Wright, these lads came here believing they could step up with better players around them, now we are hoping these are the very players who could turn our season around.

My point is that many fans on here and on social media are sitting and waiting for the transfer window, hoping it turns our fortunes around. Well I dont want to **** on anyone’s bonfire but that isnt happening. Id love to see some suggestions of players who people think we could be looking at to come in and actually change what is the worst team in the English football league in 2018.

 

I didnt say it was fact, I just pointed out that the writer was saying it was fact For avoidance of any doubt, he knows what is going on, and I can tell you now, he is not interested, I'm not taking it as gospel January will be the time to see if they have put up, but we have heard it all before and nothing came of it.

 

Whilst I agree he is trying to make it look like fact, he isn't saying it is and is just making an assumption based on the factual information we all know.

 

Well it all depends on your interpritation of step up, I'd suggest playing in front of 15/16,000 every home game whilse being paid more money than at your previous club would be a step up.
This is the comment that is quoted many times by new signings, McCarton actually saying it was a massive step up compared to Accrington Stanley, and that could have been the reason the kid didn't make that step up last season.
Players saying coming to Valley Parade as an opposition player was always daunting and they would enjoy the experiance of playing to those sort of crowds on a regular basis.
Like it or not the above mentioned must have thought they could possibly improve their bank account or they would not have come not many players take a cut in the salary unless they are comming to the end of their careers.
With regards your p*****g on anyones bonfire, what does it matter who fans on a forum think could change our poor performances we only guess who we would like very few actually turn out to be who the manager wants.

 

The only way a statement by Rupp will be well received(celebrated even), is if he comes out and says he's got shut of his useless minority partner and is bringing someone in who actually knows football to get us out of this mess.
