When he refers to 'position', does he mean with injuries rather than league? They've promised big things in January before and haven't delivered.

 

Well there are only 2 home league one games in november so i do hope herr rupp makes it to them;

The pompey game should be an eye opener for him as to how bad our team is.

He thinks the team is rock bottom because of the injury problems and players returning will see a change of fortune.

Perverse logic= Hopkin will get backing if City are still relegation doomed so if we want rupp to spend money (his?or next season's budget or someone else's money?) then its best if we continue to stink.

The smell will take some getting used to by the remaining fans.

Maybe that's what Edin is telling him, Stefan says he hasn't been watching the team I doubt Edin is saying I screwed up with the Collins appointment and unfortunately David Hopkin can't turn the results around, but we have a long injury list even Kai who has been a squad member recently had to be pulled out with a late injury, we're having some terrible luck.

Aside from saying he's going to sell the club or get rid of Edin - neither of which were likely at all to be said - what could he have said?

We're stuck with a transfer window system now so we can hardly buy loads of players and the run of injuries and suspensions is ridiculous.

 

I think the fact we are in this position is the point. We could see scant improvement and be adrift by January, it's not impossible. This situation should have been avoidable but we are deservedly bottom because we are that poor. The pre season and mucking about with managers and coaches was on their watch, the club is in a right mess. I'd be more impressed if either actually got their arses to a game to see how pathetic we have become.

 

Rahic has been going, he has missed the last two due to family holiday. Would you pay a £60 fine for taking a kid on holiday out of term time just so you could watch that rubbish the week after

 

True, yes Rupp is the rarer visitor to VP. Well, hopefully Edin will see how well his project is doing when he gets back after his holiday. As for Rupp, he's not that hands on with his investment obviously, when things are going so badly wrong with it though and his customers are in numbers extremely unhappy and potentially going to walk away, I'd have thought he'd want to allay fears personally. But, they can't guarantee anything, hopkin might walk, we might get further adrift, they might spend in jan and it's too late. All you can go off is the feeling round the club and how the team is performing. Maybe you can see something and we are close to turning things around? I can't see where we're getting wins from tbh, nothing to me is saying we will be turning any kind of corner any time soon. I really hope i am wrong because the potential for relegation is real andnit would be an absolute disaster.

 

Stuart was told he'd be backed in last January and look how that turned out. Words mean nothing coming from these two.

He could have gone a step further and got everyone back on side with and I’ve binned Edin. Let’s see but essentially Rupp says Hopkin will have money and the choice of personnel will be his.
That coupled with the u23s being dissolved means the pillars that Edin has placed all his emphasis on have been dismantled.
Edins philosophy is in ruins. Stefan please remove him and allow the club to move forwards. Employing a PR expert would be another step forwards. There’s a good one at Rochdale apparently. This would allow most fans to regroup behind the club and show that you aren’t taking the piss out of us. Presently that is how it looks to me anyway.

 

Oh and we aren’t a lap dog feeder club for anyone. We are Bradford City.

 

The the last I knew he does have the facility to watch games live and did. He also is a reader of both T&A and WOAP but Not this site as far as I recall, so Stefan should be aware of performances on the pitch, if he is still watching.

 

Yes, but equally there were many people on here who were wetting themselves when Payne, Scannell, Doyle joined so let's not have selective memories now! We should be as honest as we're expecting the owners to be!
