Do you actually read what you write back to yourself sometimes Fordy? What research have you found that would prove that ugly football kits sell more than better looking ones? It'd be a great read.

 

Perhaps with all the ill feeling, and whatever City do is discredited , maybe the way forward is to shut VP and the club down and start again .

 

You do-you copied a newspaper article earlier about Coventry City and a proposed new ground. That article was full of soundbites and I suspect like the previous proposed stadiums, will never materialise.

 

Keefley, i couldn't care less if some posters on an internet forum respected my views. I certainly don't lose any sleep over it. Seems others do.

I'm from the Stuart McCall / Hendrie time, when I first started watching city.... old school, dress it up how you like mate but desire to play for city on a fair wage is what Stuart is after now... we don't have premiership wages or backing. Look at some of the refreshing comments from our new players and re joining us.

 

Fordy come on, you can't say Vaughans attitude since he came to us has been good. Spent half the season elsewhere after half a season into a three year deal then doesn't want to come back. We don't need or want players like that at the club.

 

Bowyer ls tactics were terrible but a player does not undermine the manager, its up to the hierarchy at the club to deal with that. As I've said Vaughan going is best for all concerned as he clearly did not want to be here. I would back McCall over Vaughan any day of the week.

 

If minor achievers like Doyle and Vaughan are your role models then it probably says quite a lot about you Fordy - journeymen, little loyalty, never quite made it big, self delusions of grandeur etc etc

I think you're getting confused with David Baldwin. Mason is at that Yorkshire tourist company.

 

we don't care if he doesn't score 20 goals a season as long as he's nice to his teammates haha.. sheringham and cole are the example that teammates don't have to like each other, they didn't speak through the whole time they played together at Man Utd. complete different level but the principle is the same.

Why does it always have to be somebody that's been at the club?

Mason works for Welcome to Yorkshire on about 130k..He is new to the job but they are struggling badly and I don't know what the future holds but he knew about the struggles when he joined them. I think he will be staying there. Mason has to prove his worth there. Needs to prove he can do a job like that.

We need someone fresh, not connected to the club and someone that's going to take us forward.

 

Not read the article yet but fans are calling for more news and what the plans are with regards the future, so it cant be a bad thing for the majority, of course it wont be enough for the few who love knocking the club even in these testing times.

 

Next season is going to be sh*t. Let’s not dress it up. It’d have been a tough gig even if we were well run, but given the shambles we are....
