All fair enough, but is it really entertaining? I don't find many of our games entertaining, tbh.

 

Some would counter with only 2 defeats in 12. However, Hughes needs to up his game now and make changes to personnel and formation at home, because we've slipped into Adams boring football without looking like scoring mode now.

Missed today due to work commitments but managed to listen to what sounded like a turgid 2nd half.

Pereira must have a clause that he plays every game, because he flatters to deceive every week.

Cannot knock Cook for the goals he has scored, but the rest of the strikers have offered nothing whatsoever.

So, not as good as Hughes leads us to believe

 

Because he is responsible for the long term floundering of the club that some feel is continuing even under another top manager.

It could not be any clearer to me why Ryan Sparks and Stefan Rupp are to blame.

They are far more to blame than either Adams or Hughes will ever be/have been.

Stevenage for starters I bet there budget isn’t anywhere near ours and yet that fat clown is easily outperforming an elite manager ............still a long way to go but up to this point there is nothing to suggest we will be out of this division come the end of the season ............ if you can’t beat a team like Rochdale then don’t expect anything going forward

 

On one hand, I think that Hughes shouldn’t be in the position in which he finds himself; In the playoffs with the biggest squad in League 2, half of which aren’t used. Same tactics, late changes etc.

On the other hand, I remind myself that this club was rotten to the core for the better part of 5 years, an its hard to turn that around, mistakes will be made, an lessons will needed to be learnt, sooner rather than later. We also have a habit of sacking managers after 8 months an it hasn’t worked in the past so don’t see it working now

Im willing to reserve judgement till the end of the year. we still half more than half of the January window to go, players are going out, some players have come in with more to follow. An Bradford City have this trend, that I can remember from the Parky days, of having a shit run in the winter months an then getting into good form in the last few months. Happened somewhat last season with Hughes, T&S the season before, McCall the season we almost went up in League One, Parky in 2013.

Still pissed off about last night, but there’s still time to turn this around, season is far from over yet

 

Robbie Blake was a player that hardly got a look in for 18 months. I think we forget that it is correct that we take rough diamonds like Young as investments for the future.

We do seem to make assumptions of players, very very quickly - certainly compared to before we got relegated in the 07' season.

I also don't get this attitude towards Hughes. Our 24 game points total is one of the best we've ever had. Hardly justification for the harsh comments he's now getting.

Don't get me wrong the last 30 minutes was terrible. Goodness knows why Hughes was so late with the subs - Walker looked immediately far better than Chapman (not hard) so get the others on. However, I think we need to take a deep breath and count to a zillion before writing off Hughes.

The guy and the team just need time. Those last three games last season we played some tasty stuff! We had 10 changes from that Carlisle game.. (11 if you count existing players in different positions) for those players to get used to Marks tactics and style will take time. And even to get used to each other. Training is poles apart from a match.

We will improve!

I’m not concerned just frustrated, especially with the Barrow one as I actually said I’d take a point pre game and in the 95th minute it looked like we’d rescued one after creating little.

Still I get over football results a lot quicker than when I was younger, we go again next week.

 

No you can't. You've seen promotions, Premier League, a major cup final and a number of Wembely appearances. Let's not forget the relegations, administrations, the sale of assets and the joys of training at a school! What more could you want?
