Recent developments at Valley Parade are certainly encouraging but let’s not forget Edin Rahic is still at the helm of our football club. He’s still masterminded one of the biggest downfalls in recent times at our club.
The addition of Julian Rhodes coming back to the Club can only be applauded, is this a way of getting the fans back on side? Time will tell. One thing is for certain- Julian Rhodes would only come back if his ideas are listened to and he feels he can make a difference.
Yesterday it was announced our next home game against Oxford (Saturday 24th of November) admission will be £1. A Julian Rhodes initiative that has worked before, could it work again? Do we back it? Of course, why wouldn't any City supporter back this idea, if it helps the squad get the all important 3 points it’s a thumbs up from us.
Does the above mean we want Edin Rahic to stay? Absolutely not, our stance remains- Edin Rahic must leave Bradford City Football Club.
Stefan Rupp must take some responsibility, which we think he has by appointing Julian Rhodes on a consultancy basis.
We’ve held meetings to organise a Fans Protest March for the Oxford game, should this go ahead? At the moment, we think it would be counterproductive. Every Bradford City supporter should concentrate on getting behind the squad, they are wearing the colours and badge of our club which we’ve all supported since we were young.

    What Next?
We understand ‘boycotting’ games is a very touchy subject for many but the predicament we find ourselves in the league table at the moment it won’t help anyone so the best thing we recommend is the NAPM stance.
Don’t purchase club merchandise, don’t purchase match programmes, don’t purchase refreshments inside the stadium.
Hit the owners hard in their pockets.
Finally, we’d like to thank you for your support and feedback over the past few weeks and as always, we are open to feedback, suggestions and our private messaging is open for a lengthier discussion, which we can provide you our email address also.

But according to some, we are weeks away from administration. Will refusing to spend any money at the club only push that date nearer.

Might be best to do more digging before asking fans to stop supplying money to the club which could contribute to us going into admin.

They are, but the less spent in them the less renewal deals will be worth so not using them does, indirectly, put pressure on the board and they can start to see what the future looks like if Rahic is in charge and if enough supporters are committed to it.

The "not a penny more" approach is the one I think applies pressure in the right areas and to the right people (person).

Nah Rupp wouldn't allow his investment to go into admin....................would he.
Tin hat time, Stefans comment "I think my investment is worth the risk" qouted when they originally purchased our club.

From what I’m told ER will be more ‘arms length’ than ‘hands on’ from now on.

Julian may have been called into the club on a consultative basis, but surely the point of him coming in and giving advice of where we are going wrong have to be acted upon or what's the point of bringing him in.
Any credibility Edin might have had as Director of Football or whatever his self announced position in the club was, he has shown he is not capable of doing that job, I'd be surprised if Julian is not directly answerable to Stefan, Edin has got away with his mismanagement at our club far to long.

I just want to see something in writing. Perhaps:
    • The terms of the Contract (if there even is one) between Julian Rhodes and Bradford city.
    • His remit.
    • What the specific brief for Rhodes actually is.
    • Line management accountability.
    • Duration.
    • Job description for Rahic in light of Rhodes appearance.
    • Areas of responsibility for Rhodes and Rahic.
    • Who Rhodes reports to, Rahic, Rupp or both.
    • Does Rahic have to ‘sign off’ communication between Rhodes and Rupp.
    • Will there be a monthly review? Will it be made public (think engagement, stakeholders, customers not just the old way of ‘supporters).
I think that SOC1903 could request something on the lines above.

I'm not sure any of this should be in the public domain. Duration perhaps but I wouldn't want the terms of my contract made public.

Why not go the whole hog and ask for details of all the players contracts current and in the past.

Most advertised jobs have a description, salary structure, and whether it is permanent or time limited.

This is some detail, which is freely available on the net and identifies some components of a Job description.

‘List the general responsibilities and descriptions of key tasks and their purpose, relationships with customers, coworkers, and others, and the results expected of incumbent employees. Qualifications. State the education, experience, training, and technical skills necessary for entry into this’.

So if you clarify what your job is and if it was advertised, then that sort of general information is available.

I was priced out of buying club merchandise, programmes and purchases at the tea bar years ago so the owners needn't worry too much they won't notice any change from me.

Not sure avoiding buying an overpriced pint of dishwater is going to make much difference - if things ARE that close to the wire.

Take your point. From what I know Julian Rhodes has given the club staff a boot up the arse and cracked the whip because they were just coasting from game to game under Rahic. They will be joint CEOs, have been close since Rhodes sold the club.
