    Can't understand why people are moaning about Salford City climbing the league's with a bit of investment. Plenty on here thought we'd got our future guaranteed with German investment. Knock the ex man Utd players all you want but we're playing them next season.

    It shouldn't be about Salford, but us. How can we be so shit that we end up playing Salford on level terms?

    Sold 13k cheap ST's = achievement. Not much said about losing 6k fans in just 2 seasons.

    Total mindset change needed in our support.

    How fat was the Manfield keeper. This reminds me of the keepers in League Two and the players, all shit and fat as feck. Mansfield keeper had about 20 bellies and none of them got promoted

    Seeing as though we’re in the tinpot league now, we can do what other tinpot clubs do and copy original chants and songs!

    Joking of course.. but it probably will happen seeing as though everyone is jumping on the Allez Allez Allez bandwagon.

    If we end up exchanging Luton Town away to Salford City Away I think I would cringe myself to death.

    Are you suggesting that a political party would nationalise football? Is this now something I can expect to see in a manifesto? In reality it is the EFL who should administer the Financial FairPlay Rules.

    I think the point a lot of people are making is that Salford no longer resembles the club that was bought out by 'the class of 92'. It's fundamentally changed, new owners, new stadium, new club colours, new squad, new management, new ambitions and a whole new generation of supporters. You feel for the elder generation of supporters who no longer have any connection to the club they grew up supporting.

    we're going to be playing Salford City, and we're going to be the underdogs. let that sink in.

    Bradford City will be the underdogs against Salford City. jesus wept.



    also, on another note - I don't get and don't agree with people hating on Salford for actually achieving something - bought or not, they've been succesful and if a multi millionnaire wanted to buy us and splash out ridiculous wages for players we'd be loving it.

    I don’t hate Salford at all. Like you say @Ricc@Ricc if somebody cane to our club we all would embrace it, well probably but depends us how much they want to change.

    We will be the underdogs to money pure and simple.

    If some new owners took over Bradford City who were ex-players from a Premier League club and then changed the colours Bradford City played in to deliberately match those of their ex-Premier League club, it would no longer be the same club.

    I wouldn't have had an issue with Salford City being promoted to where they have if they had kept the same traditions the club had before the ex-Man United players took over.

    I don't have an issue with other teams like Fleetwood, Crawley or Stevenage for climbing up the leagues with a lot of money because they didn't change what the club was.

    The further reality Ricc - Is that if City fail to invest in players, WE could be the underdogs in quite a few games, including at HOME !! :(
