Sack Collins now before it's too late. Sack him!

Got to be realistic who would we get to replace collins?

 

Is Gary Bowyer back with any clubs yet after leaving Blackpool ?

 

Whilst I wasn’t happy with his appointment it would be ludicrous to sack him now. A lot of managers don’t know their best team/system until a few games in and getting to know their players better. Obviously he needs to realise sooner rather than later but Grayson didn’t have a clue and he’s far more experienced.
The players we’ve brought in are very good at this level. Sometimes they need time to gel.

 

Bowyer or Appleton would be my choices. Whether they'd want to come here is a different matter

Parky would have gone irrespective of the ownership change. He’d run his course with us and needed a fresh challenge.

 

Because people like @Fordy117 and @bantam316 are full of crap and just post on here for a reaction. They don’t have the balls to actually do anything as that takes some thought and effort (and I don’t think they’re clever enough to arrange it).

 

I was sat with mark lawn watching the England v Sweden match, and he’s about as chilled as he could be with his lifestyle, I doubt he’d want the stress of owning a football club again

 

I'm not convinced that Parky was staying whoever owned the club. I think Bolton was lined up a while before the Germans took over.

Collins has made a awful mistake thinking he could jump from Development Football to First Team Coach of Bradford City. I do not know who's dafter Rahic for offering him the job or Mikey for accepting it ?. That he did accept it demonstrates to me (and it's abundantly clear during interiews) a certain level of "arrogance".

Once Rahic raised the prospect; Mikey went home to his Mrs and said "Never guess what love" ? .."got a new job"! . Oh Mikey you said we'd be here a while ?. "No you silly woman I didn't say we were leaving but I have a new job !....I'm the new Manager of Bradford City !!!! .. What ! ??? you're Manager of Bradford City? .."Yes love that's right Edin called us in me; Abbo & Marty and he's made me Manager" ! "Extra £30k pa; new motor; three year deal !" Oh Mikey I love you more quick let's tell the kids!.

So that's basically how it all unfolded. But had Mikey really be savvy he would not have sat there with the £signs spinning in front of him. He would have put aside his arrogance that he was suddenly a Football League One Manager; and declined the puppet masters offer. He would have seen the "bigger picture" and continued his half decent work in Development Football plying his trade until the "right time" arrived for him at the "right level". As it stands following this debacle and the inevitable sack (because it has to happen) he'll likely never get another shot at management again ! and as unfair as that maybe ? He would only have his own arrogance to blame for that and Edin for using him !

grown adults sat behind a keyboard baying for a man to be sacked, and seemingly wishing him and those that work with him to fail so that they can justify their feelings towards another man is probably the most embarrassing thing about football fans.

 

If I was offered the job I would of taken it. Collins was part time last year and playing for Halifax just to get an half decent wage .3 year contract on triple + wages would you say no?

That shows a level of arrogance and miscalculation. People who do that in my experience always get found out. But while they are "there" it sucks the life out of those around them and never ends well all round. Usually with some one coming in to put things back together. When the inevitable happens - And it will because it always does and he never gets that break again he'll rue ever getting drawn in by Edin. Where's Hockaday the left field Leeds appointment Chilino made ? I rest me case Collins is our Hockaday sadly.
