No, but Edin said words to that effect so now he's caught in a bind. If he sacks him he has to admit he got it disastrously wrong again.

I dont blame Collins for taking the job,
but he lacks experience which he wont get from Edin.
I hope he does well in the future but he needs experienced help now!

In answer to your question, it was rumoured last week that the German coach we had here at the start of last season and got back again at the start of this season had left again. I haven't seen any official confirmation of that, or of a replacement if that is true, so yes, for me there is uncertainty at the moment around whether we have a fitness coach and if we do, who it is.

Find me 1 post where I have stated Collins is the best man for the job. You stated we had interviewed loads of managers for the post and I asked you to inform us all who they were.

 

It's all good sacking Collins, but we need at least 6 new players that actually know what they're doing.

 

He says that every game Broadsword - but we've see no improvement to date? Even the captain is now saying we only need tweaks. Well keeping clean sheets, creating more chances / shots on goal and converting a big % into goals are hardly tweaks. Lack of leadership, height in the team and a dead ball specialist are not helping out cause at the moment. Is it true we do not have a fitness coach? If, so then that needs resolving too.

 

Only we could have Payne & Doyle and not look like scoring.

 

Surely a strong coach can override a meddling chairman by just playing it his way. The worst that can happen is he fails and is sacked. The best that can happen is he’s successful and if he’s then sacked he’s done his reputation no harm.

He’d have his contract paid up because the managers association wouldn’t allow anything else.

So get a manager in who on the face of it agrees to what edin wants then just rides roughshod over it. McCarthy wouldn’t be afraid to do that, after all he put Keane in his place.

The bigger issue must be something else like the wages on offer being too heavily bonus structured.

If we can rid ourselves of Abbott & the Cone Bros then we need a Leader on and off the field. On it we have one at the club already !! Matthew Killgallon our Player of the Year 2017-18. Off it we need a Coach/Manager who knows the Game and might potentially have half a chance of understanding Rahic's thinking ? . Although God knows that's a conundrum?. But one name pops up for me Paul Lambert . fluent German; understands the "German Model" and is darn well experienced through the Leagues including League One !. We need organising; coaching properly and match fitness improving. In fact we need a proper "pre-season" - but we are where we are. Get someone like Paul Lambert in and we'd have some credibility restored; get a Leader on the pitch ! and some support alongside Doyle and maybe we could start to restore some faith and progress. Carry on with this shambles and that's what it will be a right "Carry On" !

 

Sounds to me that should go some way to resolving our current plight. Basically we need to switch off and re-boot from pre-season!

 

Edin is the problem.
He was the problem last season, and he’s the problem now.

Sacking his puppet will do nothing. It’s the puppet master that needs replacing.

 

I think Lawn, Mason, Tordoff, mitton group, Gibb, Baldwin et all know we are in trouble.

And I don’t disagree with regards Collins but he isn’t in control.
