If Collins was to go I can't see how Greg could possibly stay, he is actually a part of the coaching staff both at Rawdon Meadows and in the dug out at games.

Sure, getting knocked out last night wasn't great but the reaction is so OTT by some posters.
We drew a game away from home against a team in the division below and then lost on pens (they haven't ever lost a pen shootout in their history FYI)
That barely constitutes a cup upset. It's disappointing but, y'know, not exactly the end of the world is it.

 

Myself and Simon Hartley were at the game last night and picked that up from a member of staff. I understand Rob left after the Shrews game having been with us a similar period as his first stint in 2016. Nice guy Rob but his wife has/had a great job at high level with VW in South Korea and he told me last time they have a pact where only one works at a time so suspect he was helping out like last time. We did have a new face in the dugout last night but I don't know who.
On a slightly different tack Daniel Kuby is now Kit Man for the time being after both Alan Jackson and Steve Cross left us in recent weeks.
The Parader match day mag no longer has a Who's Who but the website does and I am in tomorrow and aim to get it up to date and reformatted.

 

If City fail to Win any of the next three games, it'll feel like Halloween, to Collins - and as he talks to Edin, he'll think he's facing Freddie Krueger !!

 

There are some overreactions, and Collins is not a proven failure...

... But it already looks like we didn't recruit a 'team', rather individuals - and since we were recruiting long before we had a head coach, people have been concerned for a long time already.

Edin Rahic lacks the ability to lead a team of novices (and Greg) to success in this manner.

As with last season, Rahic needs to step back and let a quality manager lead the club, OR, sell up.

Edin is failing this club, and his errors are plain for all to see.

I expect us to struggle this season.

 

Every season you recruit individuals. No side ever in the history of football has signed a team. What does that even mean?

 

Managers often play a certain system, so they sign players that will fit into it and fill specific roles/positions. From what I've seen so far (wasn't there last night). City look to have done the opposite, trying to find the system that will fit the players that they've signed.

You know, signing a team of players to fit the team strategy. You don't just sign the best XI players available, unless you're daft.
