At the risk os stating the obvious, we didn't make the playoffs so is too late now, in that the order has already been placed?

I was told it had been booked in and stuff ordered. Maybe they can change it but have decided not to as it shows intent, and possibly keep the league off our backs, whilst saving a bit of cash to invest into the team?

Who knows. One thing for sure is that something will happen and we will find out at some point. Until that point we will just have to keep guessing and shouting at each other

I think you may be right Tillo. If true, it once again demonstrates to me a naivety and / or arrogance in those that run our club.

Grayson's philosophy is unlike that of McCall and to expect a bunch of underperformers to adopt a whole new way of playing and turn the season around was wildly optimistic to put it charitably.

As it is, we now have a situation where valuable evaluation time has been taken up by a manager that won't be with us next season in all probability so we have a standing start for next season.

At least we'll have the excuse of the new manager finding his feet to use when our mooted signings fail to materialise in the summer.

If I were Rahic, and someone offered me my £5m back or whatever, I'd snap their hand off.

Next season isn't looking good from a financial perspective; this season hasn't looked at all good from a performance perspective at boardroom level; does he really believe he can turn things round under much more strained conditions?

Perhaps he does; but he's gambling his whole fortune on it by all accounts.

I doubt many City fans would back him to succeed next season. Even the most optimistic fans have adopted a wait and see approach.

    Hopeful at best.

Big week coming up for the club. Hope we can tie down Grayson and give him some of his demands.

Wouldn’t let him hold all the cards however. I remember when McCall got the best budget in league 2 and we took Boulding and his brother for silly money and they were crap. Graham lee who couldnt even run.

Meet him 3/4’s of the way with budget and say the rest is there if we are up there come January. Keep him focused and eyes on the prize. He knows what he’s doing. As dull as the football has been at times.

Obviously you didn't hear them say that this season or have you just taken your head out of the sand regarding the owners.

No I want him because of his record at this level and because if he stays it means that we have a competitive budget and that Edin has conceded some ground. The alternatives which hardly anyone has suggested, petrify me.

On the contrary people only don’t want him because he’s struggled to get these jokers of players going and because of his dire football, both of which I feel would improve if he had his own squad of players and both of which remind me of when Phil Parkinson first joined us. That didn’t turn out too badly did it?

Sadly I dont see him staying. I predict a shit budget next year with a young manager who Edin can control and a relegation battle.
