I’d say bring in another striker but unless he’d be partnering Cook there’s little point.

I get you but my point was on the three people you said might leave - if they leave, they will need to be replaced and its hard to find someone of a decent enough standard that would be happy to sit on the bench (as Angol et al) do and come on from time to time.

 

I think @Loyalbantam 's point was that they wouldn't necessarily all be replaced. I think he's saying he'd rather bring in one quality central midfielder who would start in place of Gilliead, and losing two or three squad players who rarely start would pay for that. I'm sure he'll correct me if I'm wrong about that.

 

Exactly, there’s no point at all in bringing in more bench warmers in January. Anyone who comes in must be better than what we already have. If we can afford to bring a top player in without selling anyone then great but if we need to free up cash then those are the three to go in my opinion

 

I could see Sutton going. MH clearly rates Angol, so I doubt that will happen. Can't see Hendrie going, especially if Sutton leaves, as that would leave us with no RB cover for Halliday.

 

Sadly have to agree re Sutton, if we want to progress.
We cant thrive and progress if we stand still. The world rightly loves a trier, but we also need to be honest.

He’s a narcissistic tw@t. He purchased it and a third of the purchase price saddled Twitter with its own debt. Bit like Man U . Hate the barstewards, Trump is another. Buy something and saddle the company with huge debt. Anyway, I’m going back to bed!
