Anyone can post something and state it as fact though. I could say I know a family member of Cole Stockton and they've told me he's definitely signed for us but it's not getting announced until he's back from his holiday. Doesn't mean it's true.

I suppose if someone hears a rumour that's a fact....whether the rumour is correct is another thing entirely. They're normally bollocks in the end, that's the "fun" in rumours and tbh it's something that rumour threads are all about really. It'd be quiet on here without them over the summer, so, for me, keep em coming

If anyone linked my name with anything to do with the s££thole that is Peterborough, I'd be well pissed off.

That's my point really, treat them as a bit of fun and only start to take them seriously if/when there is a credible source.

It used to be decent, thriving with packed shops and markets then Brexit happened. The transformation has been really sad tbh.

It's cathedral is worth a visit. Contains the graves of Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn.

Honestly we have been multiple times, yet not been in the church.

I’m far from religious, as far as one can get , but Ely where we are shopping today, has a Cathedral which is gobsmacking. Bury St Edmonds is another. How they built these things??

off topic but I won’t ignore you!

When? I’ve lived down south over 25 years and it’s always been within a 45 minute drive , it was pretty nice up to 4 years ago, then the wheels fell off! Any other ideas why it would ?

It’s a huge agricultural area predominately, however business and finance also adds a massive chunk.or did!

Ive visited London Road 3 or 4 times and ive been there with work a number of times.

The town is an absolute dump. Nothing going for it whatsoever and never has - dirty and tired. I am sure it has some nice areas but at its core its a revolting dump of a place.

You are missing the point…It WASNT like that, it’s only recent . I agree it’s now run down and the town has had the life sucked out of it, the place is deserted whereas it used to be vibrant. Anyway we digress, but you still haven’t said why I’m wrong. Note the local council says it was caused by the pandemic and austerity.

You don’t get away so easily

It’s Conservative run minority Council since the May election prior to that it was Tory run and a Tory MP Remember it’s the Tory Party line…Don’t mention Brexit, “it’s all to do with……the pandemic and the war in Ukraine”
Don’t forget I have a PE postcode and know exactly what local news is, yet you have been to a couple of City away games there. Come on Serge..I ain’t Fordy. Apparently the Brexit museum due to be built in the Town has been quietly forgotten . No idea why?
