Swindon season ticket holder here - really surprised by some of the comments on here. Clearly haven’t seen much of the lad. Really good player, it’s surprised me that he would come back to league 2, gutted he hasn’t come back to Swindon. Fully expected him to be in league one this season.

 

Too many miserable g..s on here at times, just lighten up a bit and get behind what Hughes is building, he won't leave us short and he knows what our objectives have to be this season. Just stop putting a negative spin on everything

 

For those dissing Critchlow - as good as you will get at L2 level, good age, free and has potential resale value.

He would be a great permanent signing IMO.

It's interesting how many fans are going into meltdown over this signing but would have all been happy if it had have been Odusina announced this evening.

I'm sure the same fans haven't a clue who is the better player actually.

Swindon fans certainly seemed to have been impressed with him and wanted him back

 

if the players we had signed were being managed by Derek Adams, Id be fecking worried right now.

Instead we have Mark Hughes. One of the most experienced managers in The Premier League. Not to mention his career as a player either where he was managed by one of the best of all time

There’s clearly a reason we’re signing young players with League 2 experience, Because the old Bradford City formula of buying a team of 30+ players meant that the team looked legged as shit after 70 mins. Trust the man. Trust the players. Trust the system in place

All of the players have rave reviews from previous clubs. The only im worried about is midfield. But that should be hopefully remedied soon

 

Exactly! And that’s why failure to finish top is failure and a massive missed opportunity.
Anyone saying that this season can be a ‘free pass’ ‘it’s all about next season’ is just talking crap.

 

Never put a foot or header wrong today, Platt won't get back into the starting 11 IMO as for the rest no one below an 8, as near a 90 minute domination of the game as we've seen at home this season.

 

Absolutely appalling. I am really shocked. This is a football game. Yes we all get frustrated but to threaten a players life because he made a mistake.

 

Do you attend away games and see some of the stuff our so called fans get up to, like setting smoke bombs/flares off in a pub with families and children in. it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was someone like them, they have no regards or respect for anyone bar themselves just "having a laugh".

 

He was part of a defence which conceded 19 goals in open play in 46 League games.

Good luck to him, if he feels he can get a gig higher up then he’s best to try. But we move on, plenty of fish in the sea and at this level CB’s are probably the most replaceable position as there are plenty of similar ability.

With or without Critchlow last season the defence wasn’t our area of concern or the reason we didn’t go up. It’ll be how we recruit in midfield and out wide where promotion will be won or lost next season not another CB.

 

True mate, some people get fixated by names and rumours and judge accordingly but I guarantee they will know next to nothing about Romoney! They moan because he is not the toy they wanted, I hope he has a storming season with us
