Never put a foot or header wrong today, Platt won't get back into the starting 11 IMO as for the rest no one below an 8, as near a 90 minute domination of the game as we've seen at home this season.

    He was excellent.

His comfort on the ball makes a real difference.

IMO Platt shouldn’t, at least based on today. Cannot under estimate what the calmness and ability to pick a pass, put his foot on the ball, control the tempo of play (whilst we are missing Clayton) gives to us and makes the opposition have to think right from the front.

Thought he managed Angol really well also.

Just popped into see an old mate of mine in the MacCall suite and we both said Romoney reminded us both of the late great Dean Richards with the way he goes about his business, IMO he could play a central defensive role no problem.

Assured performance by Crich.Didn't put a foot wrong today no signs of rustyness.

A Stella performance by Rom, seems to get something be a head or a foot even a knee at every challenge!
Platt shouldn’t be an automatic shoe in when back from suspension as he partnered well with Stubbs.
Anyone know if we have a realistic chance of signing him, perhaps if the Dog Botherers stay up?

A word for the referee today who I thought didn't put a foot wrong, kept the game moving playing on when ever he could, well done Mr Joyce.

Yeah, I thought the referee and his assistants were top drawer today.

Played well today. Obviously Hughes sorted out whatever problem there was. I don’t expect to see Platt again this season!

Strange how things work out at times, if Platt doesn't get a second yellow at Crawley and sent off it would have been difficult for Hughes to bring Critchlow back especially after not making the bench last Friday for whatever reason, but he did Critchlow plays and along with Stubbs hardly put a foot wrong.

Problem? Platt has been part of a very successful back four. What is the mania with folk looking for a scapegoat?

I personally don't think he's going to be good enough in L1, but he's fine for next season alongside Stubbs.

Crichlow probably goes back, and we'll sign another CB for competition, but he's not dreadful despite not being the best centre back in the division by any means.

Now if you ask me about Stubbs? This guy is captain material all day long and the best signing we've made in January since Charlie Wyke. Hardly ever puts a foot wrong and never shuts up. One of the main reasons we're in with a great shout of the autos.

We were lucky to get him, it’s no coincidence both our and Exeters form improved after he signed.

Typical scouser as well, they certainly know how to talk!

I noticed Stubbs never shut up today.
Little stuff like telling Banks to drop a bit from their throw ins.
He even shouted at Hodges to leave the ball as it went towards the dugout.
Smallwood has got a bit of stick for being a bit quiet as captain.
Stubbs seems to have taken this on and is definitely captain material if needed.
Thought Walker pipped him for MOTM but not by much.

Critchlow was steady away today and never looks in trouble, I said to my lad on Friday when Platt got sent off that this is the first time I've ever been quite happy for any City player to be sent off, as I knew instantly this was the path to get Critchlow back in the side. Despite me always wanting Critch somehow drafting back in I've agreed with MH approach of leaving a pairing together that's done well. Although having said this and despite us genuinely miles away from L1 I always tend to judge players on who I think could make the step up to L1, Platts done a decent job for us this season but I do have him down as one of the players to struggle if we got promoted.

I honestly thought Crichlow wasn't quite up to his usual standard today, which is my way of saying how good a player he is.

If there is any way of getting him signed up permanently, I hope City make it their priority (after Cook of course).

I think that can probably be put down to lack of match fitness - he said after the game that he was knackered!

I thought he played well, but certainly likes getting hold of a shirt.
Got away with it today, but would have been pulled up by a more zealous ref.
