    Contracts end on 30 June, not 1 June but the point still stands. There will be some PL games scheduled after then and there will be some players who are out of contract at that point. But most PL clubs try to avoid that situation like the plague and move them on before their contracts expire and the players leave on a free.

    The times they are a changing slightly. Chelsea's Willian is a good example. He had previously said that if the season isn't completed by 30 June, he's off and signing elsewhere. He's now had a change of heart and has said he'll sign a short term contract with Chelsea until the fixture list has been completed. I guess others will be taking a similar view if their palms are crossed with enough silver!

    Said Bradford City made a mistake mistake selling loaning and selling Doyle to Swindon.

    People need to wake up that Rhodes is a shocking CEO, so bad he doesn't even speak to fans now.

    If salary cap comes in based on annual turnover then Bradford City are stuffed! We won't be able to challenge at all.

    the current system is based on income, but as we sell twice as many season tickets at half the price we will still be bringing in similar to others

    Signing mercenaries. How shite did some become when they got their new contracts....

    £4m wage bill in 18/19 - relegated
    £2.8m wage bill in 19/20 - midtableish

    Next season we will hopefully start using 3/4 youth to plump up the squad and get quality over quantity to plug any gaps. The size of our squad the last 2 seasons was disgraceful and an appalling waste of funds.

    Looks like we will be looking at PL loans too. I'm ok with that as can send back and zero cost due to agreement.

    Does anybody think the club could invite some of the released back when we know financials and current situation?

    Mottely Henry is on McCall's radar. Wonder if Reeves is too. Not saying they should but wouldn't lose any sleep if those two returned.

    I think reading between the lines that could be correct, see if the ones he might offer contracts to get fixed up, and we should know our situation going forward.
    After watching the "4 Captains" the other night even though a lot was said in banter I think Doyle, Clarke and McMahon could be in City colours again, I accept there will/should be better out of contract players available but I think any of those 3 could play league 2 football and have an influence on the pitch and dressing room.
