    Complete overhaul of the midfield needed.
    The likes of Akpan, Reeves, Anderson and others like Devine just didn't cut the mustard.
    Not surprised no new contracts were offered.
    Midfield was woefully lacking in all aspects required in that playing position.

    I dont understand why we are trying to keep O'Donnell? He wasn't that good and he will be on a very high contract with Edin signing him in 2018.

    Going to need some fullbacks with Mellor and Henley both being released. I know on the Virtual Prediction League save that fullback is a massive issue even with those 2. With 3 of the 4 reconsider FB's being released without some more coming in you are going to have to fall back on O'Connor and French which isn't ideal

    Looks like SM wants his own midfield. Really glad Mellor and Akpan and Anderson have been let go.

    Thought Shay and Jake might have been included in SM's thoughts. Maybe wages would be a stumbling block?

    Looking at what is left its a fairly below average squad.

    SM really has his work cut out to build a decent squad.

    Why you shocked about Reeves he was injured for 2 years!

    McCartan was a waste of money for 250k

    Look, I would say it's the right call for all of them. We don't know when or if next season will happen. This is cost cutting.
