TBF most football clubs are not run like a normal business. Most run at a loss and are propped up by benefactors of one kind or another.

The Reeves case is an unusual one especially due to the length of time he has been out.

Unlike @Fordy117 and a few others I think the club have shown great spirit in keeping him and hopefully getting him back out on the pitch again.

An unusual one for sure.. not many players or any I can recall been out for 20 months with a groin injury and not talked about it in the press.

Yes, football is different to most industries but 20 months out the I would be thinking of sacking a player myself.

He will be on the pitch again soon as his contract runs out in June and I wish him all the best And hopefully he can do a job for us.

 

I suspect he had issues with mental health and city wanted to help. Just a guess but signs are there for me on this one. Well done city either way.
