I don’t know his wage at City nor do I know the wage structure at Carlisle. Perhaps I should have said “significantly increase” his wage rather than double - it’s obvious to everyone it’s a move motivated by wages and not footballing reasons.

So tell me how you know how much Harry Lewis was being paid. Have you access to his pay slips, or has he told you himself what he's on? I could say he's on £10,000 a week but then how would I know what wages he would be on?

Yes I get that but if the parent club could see their player was not getting game time (which is usually the reason players are loaned out) there's little point in staying at the club he was originally loaned to, If West Brom wanted Tulloch to get game time and knew another club could give him that then it would be the sensible thing to do allow him to return to his parent club.

If and I mean IF there is anything to this, could it be due to the delay in the 'new deal' payments from the Premier league to the EFL being agreed and signed off? If Sparks had budgeted for us having that money by now, could that be the reason we have a potential shortfall?

 

I doubt Lewis was a high earner. In his own words, he couldn't find a club and had been turned down by a NL club following a trial.
