Makes you wonder why he bought it, doesn’t it? And we weren’t a constantly failing league 2 club when he did buy us…..

 

Some might be happy being fed a diet of league 2 shite. I aint one of them. As Faithful said the standard of football is dire marginally better than the national league. I don't find myself getting excited looking at the fixture list and yet another game against a non descript team.
I actually think that given the tools to do the job then Adams has a good chance of bringing us success. But not with an owner who doesn't really care one way or the other.

 

The standard of League 1 isnt much better.

 

Adams is right this club has been on a downward spiral since we lost to Millwall at Wembley
Rupp is stuck in Germany due to covid restrictions
Sparkes is a ceo without any experience
This we all know
The players are not getting injured during league games but at training
Has this got something to do with Apperley Bridge or just not being fit
If its Apperley Bridge move to vp or Horsfall
If its not being fit change the coaches
Finally Who is going to be daft enough to buy us at the price Rupp wants it does not matter wether its 6 or 10 million bcfc is not worth that much without owning it ground or training ground
The only asset BCFC have is 15,000 season ticket holders

 

In league one we’d have Sunderland, Wednesday, Pompey, Ipswich, Wigan. Decent teams of sorts and a good crowd. Instead it’s Barrow, Sutton and Harrogate, new grounds at least eh?

I think in Sparks and certainly Adams Rupp has the right people in place. I think Adams will need a season or two to sort it out though. Stefan’s asking us to fund the club back to where he found us like it’s our fault the club has ended up where it is. Maybe if he’s been more on the ball in the first place City wouldn’t be a mid table league two club.

 

I think he was conned by Edin , believing we were on the verge of the championship and if we got there he had doubled his investment. i understand he is a decent man from what i have been told. just diddly squat interest in football.
He probably wishes he had come no where near with hindsight. There is no way he will ever recover his investment, just like many others who enter the madness of football club ownership.

 

And we can’t even beat those.

And I'll still be going down to Valley Parde good or bad, it's called supporting your club, others have a different point of view which is there right but they shouldn't categorise fans who don't share there view.

This will be controversial..... but he was only conned by Rahic on the basis of believing Rahic's own capability to deliver - not the plan itself. The fundamentals of the plan itself; to buy young players with high potential, re-sell, repeat (and forge links with premier league clubs to pick up their loans and cast offs) is 100% sound. That's the worry for me - he now thinks that such a plan is untenable, but it isn't. It just needs the right person leading it.

I'm not happy with our present situation but that won't stop me supporting my team, others may have a different opinion and prefer to say away.

 

Although that was the comments fed to us by Ryan i'ts not the way Adams manages, if he finds a gem and plays him and the kid and attracts attention and gets sold on then that’s greats for both parties but as you allud to Adams aim is to get us promoted and he will not play kids to pacify Ryan, and too bloody right.

 

Free agent forwards:

Josh Sims (Right Winger) - made 28 appearances on loan at Doncaster last year - released by Southampton wages might be a stumbling block but more realistic maybe than someone like Jordon Ibe

Kazaiah Sterling (Centre Forward) - released by Tottenham has had a few short loan spells but never really found form but these kinds of players sometimes come good and frankly I'd rather play anyone in a front three than Gareth Evans and most people on here would rather play anyone than Alex Gilliead by the sounds of it

Jerome Sinclair (Right Winger) - good experience and has been playing abroad so maybe that's where he'll end up probably a little bit over budget

Nathan Thomas (Left Winger) - former Carlisle loanee went to Scotland where it didn't work out still available and can't imagine he'd be too expensive as a stop gap or even until the end of the season

Nathan Oduwa (Left Winger) - Been playing abroad after his release from Tottenham a few years ago done okay at some decent teams supposed to be direct and runs with the ball which we're now missing

There are also a ton of other players available like Alex Jones Steven Davies Paris Cowan Hall David Nugent Nathan Mendez Laing

I don't know whether you would sign a single one of these players or not but there are certainly options and if we're really brassic that's a poor do considering we have one available forward

 

My big concern is that when Mr Rupp realises all is not well
Is that he doesn't look under the letter J in his phones contact list

True, it's more that there are big games to look forward to and hypothetically you're within touching distance of the championship. As I've said I think Adams is a good manager and has as much chance as anyone of getting it right. Just pains me to admit it may take a year or two of yet more shite and soundbites from Sparks before we do. League 2 saps your enthusiasm for football.

 

I feel nugent would have been a much better shout than Robinson
