Those that own and run this football club are a joke. A disgrace.

Saturday will be tasty indeed.

 

So basically, we're skint and can't afford any players. Does this roll on to January also?
The players we have aren't good enough to get us out of this league. The squad we have is not good enough to compete for places. Even the players who are out injured, aren't good enough to start (Robinson, Lavery).

I'm still scratching my head wondering what DA was promised at his interview to make him believe this job was for him. In a nutshell, he was spun a load of yarn. We're saying he's a strong manager and won't walk away, but if he does have a set a values, he sure as hell won't like the fact he was lied to. I absolutely wouldn't blame him if he told Sparks and Rupp where to stick it.

 

That's where yours and your families season ticket money would have been useful to the club, just sayin.

 

Whilst agreeing with you on how poor the club has been run during the passed few years, if we win on Saturday, it will be forgotten until we lose again

 

Some do, some don't. What's important though is that they are consistent either way. If they like to stay out of the limelight, then do so. If they want to be public, then be public.

We saw Rahic celebrating on the pitch at Fleetwood when we made it to Wembley basking in the glory during the good times, but when things took a turn for the worst he was cowering away. He, like Sparks, enjoyed pumping everyone up in the off-season telling us all what we want to hear about ambition and intent, but when the tough times occur what then?

I know their roles are different, but what's uncomfortably similar is the patterns of behaviour, especially in public.

 

Where are the we are lucky to have a club merchants who cheer failure?

I think an October fan forum needs to happen around this next announcement.
A peed off manager making cryptic statements and saying sorry there’s no money is not a good luck for a team that’s targeting promotion

 

Im fully expecting another cryptic message from Sparks shortly on Twitter giving out false hopes, it is getting tedious.

 

Don’t really know what people want from Sparks, if he speaks he’s criticised, if he does a Julian Rhodes and never speaks that would surely be worse. He can’t increase the budget, he’s an employee of the club and he has never shied away from problems which I am sure there are many, just like other clubs. It seems he can’t win no matter what he does.

 

Would it? You think that the match going public are seeing their money represented in the squad that's on offer? You don't think that maybe the fella who's worth £300m quid and bought the club could be coughing up to improve things instead?

Its not a charity Bronco, its an entertainment service. The quality is terrible, the ambition is non existent and the capability is very limited. Give me value, and they'll get my money. They've had more than 20 years worth of season ticket money out of me and increasingly I have no faith in what's being done, and find going to VP a chore. I don't buy into any of the narrative any more. They've lost my trust. Simple as that.

 

Shift some of the dead wood we have only just bought some of it
Our youngsters are not even attracting attention from the National League so not much hope there
We are well and truly in the mire
Mr Sparks needs to use his " marketing skills on Mr Rupp or the season is well and truly over

 

Don't hold your breath if all the budget has gone

I began it with the word 'sadly'. I don't feel good about it - I want to be wrong, sat here in the weeks to come and kicking myself for having not renewed. I don't think I will be.

 

This is what a lot fans don’t appreciate. Some will go week in week out and moan, others want to be entertained. Personally I don’t want to watch endless 2-1 defeats or 0-0 draws between two poor teams. Me spending another £200 isn’t going to change things.

Normal business, retail, you don’t sell what the customer wants or you sell poor quality tat the customers walk away. Musicians, films, theatres, if the product is boring buying more tickets or albums doesn’t help.

If Rupp was investing in a sustainable future for City, youth development, training facilities, the stadium, I’d do my fair share too. But he’s man who isn’t interested, why should I be interested? Football is unique, I’ll never change the club I support, but I want to feel my support is reciprocated. Fans and local businesses have done their fair share this summer. I feel that Sparks and Rupp have led us up the garden path.

We had a summer of promises and talk, for the first time in years it felt good to be a city fan, instead we got Theo Robinson, a panic buy worse the idiots queuing outside the Shell garage

 

Nah, Adams will turn it around after the October announcement, who knows by then Angol, Canavan & Eisa will be chaffing at the bit.

I could sell my house and business and pump £1 million into the club, but would have nowhere to live and no job to go to.
He is not going to sell his assets to pump the money into a constantly failing league 2 football club.
