    It would be good if we were told honestly about the ground contract. I think as supporters we deserve that much. This renting indefinitely cannot go on.

    The really, really sad thing, is that they could include a bloody ice rink as part of a new stadium facility and leisure complex!!

    Take a trip down the Forster Square arches if you want to see the real Bradford. Stunk like toilets at the old Saltergate when I walked past today.

    We have no right to buy back the ground. With hindsight it would have been much better had that been negotiated and included in the lease at the time. But it wasn't and unless the PF now chooses to sell it to the club, they can't be forced to. On a positive front, at least Sparks is developing a better relationship with Gibb than JR ever could and maybe that might help us at the margin if Sparks continues to build on that new relationship. Even then, I don't see it as a major game changer.

    Of course it’s not insurmountable, where are the £m’s coming from, especially as groundshare is out of the question . That’s the insurmountable bit nobody can provide an answer to.

    It would be nice but I doubt it , if I were Gibb I’d not be that stupid. Remember, as long as there is BCFC he has pension fund income in perpetuity and if the club was no more he still has the asset at market value.

    I can’t stand the thought that we will never be in a position to buy back our stadium. It isn’t like he hasn’t made money out of the deal. It would take someone millions to prise it out of the PF. Plus on top of that we can’t find an appropriate piece of land to build a sporting complex in the Bradford area. Our neighbours will not allow us to use their facilities.

    I know it is business but wasn’t anybody thinking about the future? 25 years is more than long enough.

    My best mate (12 at the time ) big brother got his fingers “ run over” at Silver blades, Two fingers went west and dozens of stitches . Ouch.
