We keep coming back to the exact same problem though: who else is there, until the window opens?
We've tried other players and a few combinations. I think I'm correct in stating that Bruenker has started very few league games. So it's quite obvious we've been extremely ineffective with those players. The goal tally from our front players proves that. He may not be the answer but he just might be the best option we have to partner Doyle. The alternative is to go back to the formation and personnel who lost all those games and why we ended up at the very bottom of the table.
I wish we had a better option but we haven't. Again it just highlights the poor recruitment during the summer.

I have never claimed anything about him other than when he has had a start he has mainly done well and it shows because our win rate goes up with him in the side

 

@Ricc I completely agree we need to sign better, and I bloody hope Hopkin knows this as well..


However one little stat for you.. in the 8 games Kai has started we've won 4 lost 2 and drawn 2 and one of those losses he had to come off injured after 15 mins..

Now the only reason I bring this up, is him being on the pitch allowing our better players more room and time on the ball to perform.. obviously he's only started 2 this season and we've lost and won.. so time will only tell.. Just thought it was interesting, more in terms the type of player needed at this level than anything i guess.

 

I actually agree that at the moment there isn't an alternative and for that reason, Bruenker should play.

my main point was regarding people over stating his performance, making out he's having a blinder or playing really well to over compensate because of the criticism he gets on here.
