I would keep Platt and Kelly (as squad). Release Stubbs, try and offload Taylor/Odusina and bring in 3 CB's.

Always Mr Reliable, I remember having a "debate" with @Park bantam with regards Vincelot playing CD and although I preferred him in CM he never let us down that I can remember and his heading of the ball was right up there with the best I've seen in Claret & Amber and that's a good few over the years be they strikers or CD.

Stubbs has made occasional errors. To my mind he can play at a higher level. Platt can’t. Platt useful under bombardment but loses his man when forwards have half decent movement. See Harrogate as an example. He isn’t going to play in a successful league 1 team. I want players to be able to get us out it of this shitpool but them be able to carry on successfully higher up. After getting used to it, I loved Vince at CH. If we had 11 players with his committment we would walk this league

 

Anyone know what he’s up to these days? With the way he read the game, played and being captain he seemed the sort who would go quite well into coaching
