What would be appreciated would be to hear something from our owner or Julian regarding the clubs views and plans, the lack of contact to fans does not help.
Just been watching Mark Palios the Tranmere Rovers owner being interviewed he has spoken about there pitch being relayed and needing twelve weeks to develop it. Talked about contingency plans asking the league if they could play first few games away from home. He also said the players would get a week off from training and sports scientists are devising a programme for players. Also looked at the Port Vale site yesterday they were extending a couple of players contracts some clubs are trying to be positive.
I know times are difficult but as fans, season ticket holders members and sponsors we do need more from the club. If I heard something positive I would renew my family’s season tickets early but not at the moment.RCarol, Onside, bantamdave41 and 1 other person like this. -

There’s hundreds of examples where the game was played but city never turned up. Do they count

On a serious note we talks about how VP needs improving and the toilets come into that. Unfortunately, now people are taking wash their hands seriously. I feel when this virus hopefully goes away that football clubs will have to improve their hygiene. It's going to cost Bradford City a lot but that's what happens when you don't improve- it ends up costing more when the time comes.
It will be interesting to know if they will be plenty of hand sanitiser at VP on Saturday. Is this something Paula is looking into @wetherbywhaler ?Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Onside, Bantam-in-Greece and Idlebantam like this. -
Up to now the home form has masked how truly poor the away form has been and worse so, the performances. We’ve had nothing like the consistency of performances or form to warrant a play off finish. Saturdays dismal display at a time when players shouldn’t need any more incentive other than achieving a play off finish, proves to me this squad don’ deserve it.
Naturally, I’ll always be behind my team and have hope until it’s mathematically not possible. However Saturday was a line in the sand moment for this season for me. If I could go back to a period in the season and say we were truly as good as we could possibly have been, then there’s case we deserve something. Some might say it’s the results that count, not performance, and perhaps theres some truth in that. However the only consistency I can call upon this season is that we’ve been way below par and lucky to be anymore near the play offs at this stage.
We might get a reaction and result against Orient, however it means nothing to me if it’s not followed up with the same outcome against Port Vale, which I highly doubt will happen.Stop hovering to collapse... Ages ago I commented on the main toilets at the back of Block E in the JCT (Main/South Parade) Stand. The water is mainly cold, often no soap, the water pressure In the taps very poor, with the sole ‘hand drier’ located where people queue and even then it has a pathetic air flow.Craven Koppite, Onside and Idlebantam like this. -

I watched News Night on BBC2 last night, where they had experts discussing the matter. I think that Programme and the Government Scientific advisor, accept that that virus can no longer be contained and that it’s rate of spread which is now the issue. That the population, through exposure to the virus, which is inevitable, will build an immunity. Tragically that will impact on individuals and their families. This is a ‘moving picture’ there is no perfect answer to it, no ‘magic cure’.Stafford Bantam, banbrotam and Onside like this. -

I don't know what the long term solution is but making the season void isn't one. There would be lawsuits galore from clubs who have missed out on promotion or been relegated.
Then clubs at our level can't afford to play behind closed doors because the financial impacts are huge. So the only way that works is if the EFL and PL decide to help clubs out and send some of that TV money our way to cover the losses. -
