Maybe we can have get a support thread going. We all need to keep our spirits up. One of the reasons I like this site, and to be fair TCA is the humour. Might have said this before but many is the time I have had tears running down my face with laughing.

It’s part of our DNA stoism, humour in the face of the threat. Plenty of humour on here and TCA.

 

I think it will be the same for myself and Mrs Rocket shop only when needed . Plenty of walks in my sunshine valley and tidy up the garden. All my family are working in there important jobs grandkids at school still. I’ve got a mate who is also a City man quit we’ll know who his sunning it in South Africa playing golf today at Sun City ok for some.

 

Thanks it's going to be a long 16 weeks. But no choice most folk (like me) who are over 70 have certain health probs. Just have to grin and bare it

 

Yes woke up to the news this morning as I posted a hotel booked for the weekend and a big get together at our local WMC, do we wait for the government to officially announce it or make our decision now, I believe anyone who wasnt taking it serious will have changed their minds with what's going on around the world.
Worrying times.

 

Instead of blaming Johnson for this mess the blame should be laid squarely with the Chinese. These things seem to always start there, strange eating practices, live animal markets and a lack of basic hygiene.

Who’s blaming him for it? We can question his reaction, surely?

 

Our elderly supporters have suffered through 50+ years of City. I'm sure 4 months of anything will be more than manageable for them

 

Yet I read or hear of no one questioning the source. It's like me, I've had all my work tools stolen this week and can't afford to replace them, but then blaming me for mot having better security on my van. I'm not saying people can't question him but the Chinese should be made accountable for this.

 

The source, China, dealt with the virus very quickly and efficiently indeed.

The same can't be said for the rest of the world. It barely even spread outside Wuhan in China.
