Basically then the end of a totally forgettable season. Glad it’s taken the decision away from me because I was going on Saturday with concern

I agree. I was still going to go, but given the lack of good hygiene facilities I was questioning whether that would have been good idea.

I think the season will be completed. It couldn't be left with some teams having played each other twice and others once - imagine in the Premier League if say Chelsea still have all their rivals to play and Man U don't, the latter would scream from the rooftops, legally, about the unfairness, given the Champions League spots on offer

IMO the Euro's will be postponed and then all Leagues allowed until, say, mid July to complete. Play-offs likely to be cancelled, (i.e. our season will be over)

Yes, this is an issue with player contracts etc, to say nothing of fixture scheduling for next season. However, they could start that in September and simply have two games a week more often

    Unprecedented times

Funny the lack of good hygiene was going to put me off (although I'd had gone). Ridiculous in 2020, the club still run a 'no hot water in the toilets' policy : unamused:

I'd rather spend the afternoon sat on the crapper looking at my 300 quids worth of bog roll.

I don't know what the long term solution is but making the season void isn't one. There would be lawsuits galore from clubs who have missed out on promotion or been relegated.

Then clubs at our level can't afford to play behind closed doors because the financial impacts are huge. So the only way that works is if the EFL and PL decide to help clubs out and send some of that TV money our way to cover the losses.

'Force Majeure'. Voiding the season is probably the least complex in legal terms.

Not sure. Drugs aren't a living organism after they've been processed, so it will depend on how long the virus can last on any given surface. I've heard anything from an hour to days!
For drugs you can substitute lettuce or tomatoes. . . .
Of course bio security isn't just about viruses that can infect humans. Much of it is to limit diseases that affect other plants.

Wonder if the training regime will continue surely the players will need to stay fit in case the season starts again

I'm not sure. I don't for one minute think that the likes of Liverpool or leeds will take voiding the season lying down. It'll end messy that's for sure.

Almost impossible to train under these circumstances for any clubs with players or staff with virus or suspected cases. Plus can you play when half the teams haven't trained?

But would be funny if they don't promote Leeds and then they make a right hash of next season..
