Look I may not know all the technicalities and rules, but I can see the blindingly obvious fact that we need a partner for Cook, anyone who can’t see that needs to watch a different sport

Usually in the National, money don't mean much if you ain't got a mojo. Stockport don't. Great ground, always loved going there. But they ain't getting back into L2 this season. The Hollywood money will do it for Wrexham - they have SO much of it, they don't need a mojo. Great for them. But again, it's just about the money, money, money.

 

If a manager can do that, and do it consistently; they are not in League Two.

The time Adams could've used to assess the squad during the Morecambe playoffs last season, has probably led to the likes of Crankshaw and Evans being here at the start of the season. Sutton could be another casualty if he's not careful. If Adams is cutting the waste and replacing with better, then good on him. We as fans have become so accustomed to accepting crap it's untrue. It reminds me of the time before Parky took over, when we had half a dozen average players and the rest were non league level. We need to get 20 decent players in the squad and release those only here to make up the numbers.

 

I agree and I don’t think anyone is really bothered he’s left, they wouldn’t have done in the summer anyway. More the timing of it, with 6 injuries and not won in 7 games. I was no fan of him but he should have at least had a start or two in place of Gilliead to get the competition for places going it may have actually helped Gilliead in the long run as well. I got caught up in a promotion buzz ore season I won’t lie, that’s already drained from me now I’d take mid table and get a lot of the dross out over the next two windows in preparation for next season. I remember Parky getting called Plonkinson on mass his first 40 games, I expect similar to Adams. But long run he’ll bring us far more professionalism I’m confident of that, but it’ll be a up hill slog I’m afraid.

 

Perhaps Adams is so unhappy is because he received glowing reviews for players that he thinks are nowhere near good enough?

Had he known we needed a full clear-out in the Summer, maybe he'd have stayed at Morecambe...

 

He wouldn’t be human if a bit of regret hadn’t crossed his mind regarding coming here all things considered so far.

 

If it’s not next season then the season after another club to climb past us whilst we fanny about in mid table. Got to spend to stand still in this division. Half a dozen ex non league clubs above us, the top three are all recent non league teams.

 

I don’t think Adams comments on Saturday will have made Crankshaw feel great, however I can’t believe this is the reason - if it is Crankshaw definitely wasn’t the mentality of player we need.

End of the day the question Adams received could have been about any player - it was the thoughts of the interviewer which Adams simply gave his thoughts on. That could have been any of those who played Saturday depending who the interviewer chose to reference.
