I thought he stood out a mile and said he'd play at a higher level, others just wanted a goal and were not looking for or bothered about anything else. He's 6'+, fast and very mobile, a threat on the ground or in the air and scored goals for fun in a relegated team. He's worth £5m minimum at the moment and probably double that in 12 months.

"Did absolutely nothing" and "Looked a good prospect" There's a big difference. I thought "wow" and that might have been only me but I that's what I thought, same when I saw Wells, same when I saw Moult and I said so with all of them......at the time.

Louis Moult isn't a great player. He's an average League One forward, and that will become apparent.

He won't get much football at Preston, particularly after the Summer transfer window, and he'll probably wind up on loan at Fleetwood or similar next season.
