We really do not need to be looking backwards.

I would be more annoyed by a short term, lazy appointment if McCall then by a give it a go appointment if a new face.

I don’t care how many badges he has been unable to demonstrate competence under several managers. We lost 5-1 the last time he took charge of the team. I could have saved me typing all that and say he is crap!

He was also trying to interfere with tactics and team selection; regardless of whether McCall took any notice of him, it must have been an incredibly difficult situation when you've got a group of players not sure whether to do what the manager tells them or what the owner does.

still cant get my head round how @Park bantam defends every manager we have ever had since the omb, claret and banter, bantams talk and yet hates mccall. It definitely personal with this 1. After all he defended past managers including collins to the very end. As well as Rahic.

He will have a big advantage over anybody else in that he can go for it in the knowledge that if he fails it will all be that big bad Mr Bowyers fault and he won’t get any criticism let’s hope he grabs this chance.
