we are caught in a never ending relationship.
McCall is like that old girlfriend that we keep going back to because we think it will be different. It’s great for a while but we always end up falling out and splitting up.

Hope we are not stuck in a cycle of failure,

Warnock short term - year and a half deal
Long term approach - Nathan Jones, Paul Clement and Paul Tisdale all good candidates.

Warnock would get us up, 4 month deal to end of season with a bonus for promotion.

It is difficult, if we are going short term Warnock and Stuart, long term Nathan Jones, but I want the long term manager in, so he can start to settle in without having the responsibility, and prepare for next season. Expensive, but essential we start to build our club.

From what I've seen from his style of play and showing he has what it takes from getting out of this division I would go with Nathan Jones. Got Luton promoted from this league and fired them up through league 1 with Harford just nudging them over the line.

Whoever it is, I think it will need to be an attack minded manager who plays good football.
We've had too much pragmatism lately and more of it, results aside, is not the way to get fans back in the building. Otherwise we may as well have kept Bowyer.Botswana Bantam, cjunluck and Onside like this. -
Warnock would cost a fortune, but I don't think it's a bad shout. A Warnock / McCall double act, with Stuart taking over at the end of the season might work
And I don't think after the 2018/19 Stuart had managing, he'd not be prepared to swallow his pride and relearn under WarnockLeeds Bantam, broadsword and vladimir like this. -

I doubt Warnock would be too much - offer a respectable wage coupled with very good bonuses for play-offs and promotion. Improved form to achieve those would boost season ticket sales so it would be mutually beneficial.

The club is refusing to comment on Drury? Hmm. My hunch is that we will have someone in quickly.
That leads me to Stuart or Warnock. I’m pretty sure Rhodes would want to interview any of the other candidates before choosing. Simply no need to interview Warnock. Everyone knows him and what he will bring. ‘Do you want it?’. If Stuart is interested he will very quickly say what his terms are. That may take longer. The club needs Drury to hold the fort till the cavalry rolls in which won’t be long.borderlescott, Doodle and Onside like this. -

All winnable. A real chance of 3 wins from them 4 and putting us back in the play offs. A swift appointment required.borderlescott, Brackenrigg and Bronco like this. -
Thinking about Warnock's recent comments about one last management hurrah, and where he has managed, we are a decent named northern club (prem history) that he hasn’t had a crack at, Leeds, Huddersfield, Sheffield United.....Bradford City and Promotion from L2 would be a great addition to that cv to finish

Jones would be the best appointment for me. We have players that need the passion put back in them, which they seem to have lost. I would even say that the disruptive influences within the playing squad needs addressing with most of those influences gone and now the time to change. Drury needs to go too, get rid of wrong thinking and tactics.
