I can't honestly imagine that either Rahic or Rupp have the slightest interest in what us plebs think. I can see a Coventry / Blackpool / Charlton situation arising where the more vocal the fans become the more the owners hold them in contempt. After the start to this season my only 2 confident predictions are that:

    1) Sadly we will go down.
    2) We will hear next to nothing from the owners.

If we are serious about protesting then unfortunately there is only one way to do this effectively and sadly it will involve making alternative arrangements for Saturday afternoons.

Create chants, write emails, hold up banners if you want but while the turnstiles are spinning the owners will not give a sh*t!

Although incredibly diplomatic and sensible, I'm not sure anyone knows enough about him to know how effective something like this would be. All we know is that they're both businessmen, and think like businessmen - the best way to get their attention is to jeopardise and/or threaten their business.

No, I'm not suggesting we collectively destroy the club, we'd certainly suffer more than them in that scenario! Instead, you give them bad publicity by making things a little more open, and public. If you were to write the "sensible" letter/e-mail in a more open forum i.e. an open letter in a newspaper, then I think it would be much more effective. Equally, I don't think a silent protest, win-or-lose, would be a terrible idea - publicity helping the cause.

I don't think the swearing, the abuse and the xenophobic comments paint them in a negative light, so much as it does us. The owners will never really be thought of negatively if the fans are considered the epicentre of it.

I disagree I think persuasion can work. Of course a lot depends on Stefan in this case having an open mind. And the E-Mail being sensible with thought out proposals for change

Telling someone to go back to Germany isn't racist

What's your point? Do you think this ill feeling based on nationality is justified then?

Oh come on, Germans? Sausages? Do I have to spell it out? The sausage-munching Boche. Fritz, the bratwurst guzzler.

All well and good ........................................ However - BCAFC already have match revenue, in ST sales ...... So THEY will not give a shit about who doesn't attend. Apart from 'owt else - A small crowd of 4,000 happy clappers will be better than one of 14,000 mainly unhappy dissenters.......... Get my drift, blowing in ? ;)

You're right but it would at least be a statement of intent for next sseason from the fans.

Every problem or issue has a solution, Rod.
Unfortunately, many are ill thought, and therefore fruitless.

    a) Spot the exact issue.
    b) Detect the fault with that issue, and identify the most effective way to address it.
    c) Collectively, or Universally apply the best remedy. ;)

I'm certainly not saying persuasion won't work, just saying what you have said right there - it depends on what he responds to. You can only go on what you know.

All in the context Ricc. To mention their nationality in general terms is neither racist or xenophobic, to use it in a derogatory way could be construed as xenophobia. Ones arguing about xenophobia would he wise to work out the difference.
