    I suppose one of the points that I am making, is that all the owners of the clubs which I have included pictures of, are still at their respective clubs, as far as I am aware. So protesting may make supporters ‘feel good’, but will it have any positive effect?

    It's not that I want them out. I just want them to change the way they're doing things.
    Invest some of their fortunes in the club, buy and retain decent players and have a proper management structure.
    Simples. If they do that I'd be happy. They almost certainly won't though. If that's the case they should go back from whence they came and fanny about with someone elses club. Or better still get out of football all together.

    Does anybody recall the fan's protest at VP circa 2010 when McCall was expected to be either sacked or to leave? Thousands of SOS (Save our Stuart) cards were printed and distributed at the following home game and held up during the game at some pre-organised time. The intention was to keep McCall at VP irrespective of what one of the then owners wanted to do.

    It did a fat load of good and McCall left of his own volition within 48 hours. Fans' protests don't have a great track record and needs a lot more careful thinking than simply turning up with a few hand-written placards or singing a few cringeworthy songs directed at the owners.

    With the benefit of hindsight, one of my friends did the right thing and didn't renew his ST.
