    Weren’t we up for sale for several years, arguably when the club was more high profile with two major cup runs and a promotion. Despite that positive situation, we ‘are where we are’. There is no knight in shining armour out there ready to ride to our rescue!

    wrose initially then when his parents went to teach in Africa he was sent to bording school in East Yorkshire.

    When they came back the family moved to hedge way off Allerton road. I was mates with his brother but never met ade as he was away at Manchester university

    Atmosphere was non existent because we were all in shock at what we were witnessing. I didn’t even have the heart to celebrate the goal. I just wanted to go home.

    He will do alright as I understand that only the initial payment for the club was made ‘pre Brexit’ since then Sterling has lost about 15% of its value against the Euro. So he will have paid far less for City than he had originally set aside!
