    One solitary loan so far hardly going to rock the boat if he goes back.
    I look forward to seeing how he adapts and applies himself.
    If he turns in good performances like O'Brien who was also a loanee it's a win, win regardless of where he plays in the second half of the season.
    Let it take it's course what will be will be.

    Just pretend its a 6 month loan then. You would probably have been happy with that to secure what looks like a good player coming in.

    They did. For about 13 minutes against Middlesbrough before Hope got sent off, lol.

    Palmer, Akpan and Scannell were in and out of that Burton 2017/18 team that got relegated. All 3 of them spent time warming the bench together. Scannell got crocked in January and Palmer moved to Rovrum in January.

    I won't even lie I was a bit meh about even going at the end of last season but now I can't wait for the season to start. If we can keep this lot fit it feels like we've a promotion chasing squad being built. There can't be many league 2 managers looking at our squad and not worrying about taking us on next season.

    Nothings guaranteed but so far hats off to GB for getting these guys in and SR for giving him the freedom to do so good Effort it somehow feels right.

    I'm gonna chuck it out there early IBWT!!!

    Don’t need to play him themselves. Another club in L1 might want him. Huddersfield didn’t need Payne but it didn’t stop them getting us to renegotiate for him or lose him.

    According to transfermarket he is more of a centre midfielder, so either a left sided player is also coming later OR a midfield trio of Anderson/Palmer/Akpan with one winger of either Scannell or Ismail.
