Out of those two lasted one was Stuart who survived three times because of his past and Parky who many were calling for his head in the beginning because we were struggling at first. And some were even calling for his head later can you believe because they didn’t like his style of play.

I'm no fan of City's managerial merry-go-round. One of the big reasons for our lack of progress has been the tear it up and start again mentality. We need to have a blueprint of how we as a club want to play football. And stick to that blueprint. Instead we go from one manager with one idea to another with a different approach. Each time we end up with players who were recruited for one style of play trying to play something they weren't equipped to do. Square pegs in round holes.
Hughes has the right ethos. Playing on the floor with players who are comfortable on the ball. Okay, that might not of worked out to plan but we need to recruit someone who can execute the plan where MH failed. Let's not get another Bore-yer or Adams. We want a manager who fits the blueprint rather than a manager whose own blueprint is imposed on us.

Before talking about sacking the manager, Sparks and Gent should go first. All they know is rugby league, and they’ve had a criticism-free ride so far

Sparks has been the one constant throughout the Bradford City manager merry-go-round. While him and his mates at kadima were busy pulling our pants down for a Spanish “tour” gent is bringing shite into the club

Gent is the one responsible for signing this utter shite they call a professional league 2 team. Wtf does he know about football??

Its been a colossal fecking mess ever since we were sold by Lawn and Rhodes

I always liked how Darrell Clarke's teams played football. Think he'd be a decent shout and a lot more of a doable appointment than Moore or Wilder.

You and Silver continue to bury your heads, i for one continue to believe there is another manager out there who will take us beyond the current dross. I just dont think MH has the hunger or lower league adaptation in his locker - and whats one more manager between friends! ;)

I am not particularly in favour of Hughes but after we reached the play offs and four games in three away is certainty not the time to get rid. And whatever happens with him at some stage we are going to have to give someone the chance and the time to get things right

Rhodes and Lawn f@#cked up recruitment until Parky came here. Before that we'd burned through dozens of managers and hit rock bottom. Parky wasn't popular for a long time and only kept his job because we'd hit rock bottom. Let's not gloss this over as some kind of messianic leader. He was a 'meh' who'd not done anything at Colchester.

I should have made myself clear; there was a less than enthusiastic reaction to Parky from fans. Many questioned his credentials given his departure from Colchester and his style of play. This is why he got a luke warm reception and was the subject of more than one or two calls for his head. Some people forget all this and look back as some golden era where he simply turned up and we won promotion and went to Wembley.

Exactly the point I am making under the circumstances that now exist Parky would have been hounded out that first season where we narrowly missed out on relegation. If and When Hughes goes there has to be a recognition that they need time not just the next match to get it right

Should have got Evans in when we were looking last time. For all his misdemeanours in the past, its fish n chip paper now, it's old news, and I guarantee itd all be quickly be forgotten if he got us out of this league! He's a winner at this level, McAnthony knows it, told us we should have got him at the beginning of last season. Look what happened.

I'm not dumping on Parky. I'm just getting a little perspective. He wasn't the Messiah when he arrived and we didn't just start winning games. He was unpopular with some sections of the fan base. Lawn and Rhodes held their nerve and didn't sack him and that paid off in the long term.
But before he arrived we chucked managers at the wall and none of them stuck. Folk seem to forget all of this and history is glossed over to suit their narrative.

I agree with others that have said it's very early in the season to hit the panic button and pull the trigger, but having said that factoring in many failings of last season coupled with the signings this pre season for the system he's trying to employ for all my wanting for us to stick with a manager for once, I just can't see for the life in me that MH will ever really succeed here unfortunately, I'm all for giving him more time without doubt but also feel that's just delaying the inevitable.

Adams got a team promoted out of League Two and thumped us 3-0 today. Why on earth do you think the same wouldn’t happen to Evans?

We chew up cheap managers as the fans get on their back every time we lose.

We can only afford L2 managers/players therefore we only stay in L2.

Luckily I neither saw nor listened to the match today, but a manager changing formations as often as Hughes, clearly has no idea what he’s doing. In a full season and the start of this, we’ve never looked like taking any side apart. I hate the thought of “rip it up and start again”, but we now have a manager who has brought in players to play 3 at the back and went to a flat back four. So we now have Halliday, Richards, Hendrie, Oyegoke, Ridealgh, vying for 2 positions. Kelly, Odusina, Platt, Stubbs, Taylor also vying for 2 places. There’s going to be a hell of a lot of upset folk in that dressing room come the end of August. Whoever comes in has to be able to play with the intention of looking to play forward and not tippy tappy backwards football.
