Look, fair enough if a new manager is unveiled this week and he did indeed agree to work with us weeks and months ago, but if he didn't, what kind of incompetent shambles are we?

Why are we telling lies about managers working with the recruitment team and on the retained list? Even worse, why are we letting people who aren't employed by the club dictate decisions about our future?

Lets talk about the manager having a say on the retained list though. The conversation might have gone like this:

"These are the players out of contract"
"Ok..thanks. Are you as a club fussed keeping any?
"No"
"Neither am I"
"Great. That's that then".

 

Surely that is a question to be asked if the scenario you paint happens. The season only finished for Morecambe yesterday let’s wait and see what the coming few days bring first

 

It's already been weeks waiting to see what happens, so what's another few days? But the worst case scenario is an absolute disaster, let's just get to grips with that fact. We are beyond stupid if Adams stays at Morecambe, we've have completely ballsed up.
