Evidently the Morecambe side of the equation see us as being too big a club for Adams to turn down EVEN IF they're League One.

That's pretty significant, and seems to be a fairly commonly held notion in L2. We are too big for this level no matter what some people say.

 

How is a manager coming to Bradford ambitious ? Under the current ownership theres zero ambition, we are on a downward spiral..

I never said we were smaller than Morecombe, just saying Morecombe have more ambition that we do and are in a higher league, so why would Adams leave them and come to us? I mean great if he does but doesnt really show any ambition does he, dropping a league to take over a mid-table league 2 side with zero ambition.

Why, if it isn't already a done deal, aren't the club open to prospective candidates (according to Sparks)?

I hope I'm wrong but if Adams doesn't arrive, I get the feeling that the club are going to be in a similar situation to when Grayson left.

 

It could be Flynn, we just don’t know, although I think you’re right.

Not inviting applicants means we identified who we wanted, went after that person and got them. Stopped all the unnecessary invitations and interviews. I suppose we’ll know soon enough. I don’t think for one minute Sparks would let it it run on for much longer without a manager.

 

pretty sure the ambition is there. just hope that the club is now being run well enough for us to reverse the direction of the last few years. we shall soon see.
