    Can't remember the last time we were an "ambitious" club, maybe in the Richmond era but not anymore and how is coming to VP a step up ? A mediocre league 2 side on the decline with the only thing to shout about is the large crowds because of cheap season tickets or a ambitious league 1 side with some brilliant talent and potential to become a legend by keeping them up...

    You are missing the point though. In theory, you may have everything needed for the club to go places but with the biggest attendances in the league, one of the highest budgets and the expectations of fans then you basically have a situation where anything but winning the league is almost a failure. The bigger clubs down in League 1 and League 2 such as yourselves, Bolton, Portsmouth, Sunderland etc are almost poison chalices for managers, you take the job and do well and its 'Because of the resources' rather than because of them and they don't walk it the failure hits twice as hard as it would for a smaller club with eyes on automatic promotion. He could go from someone who even if Morecombe struggle next season wouldn't need to do a massive amount to most likely get another league 1 job to someone who even the top League 2 clubs may have doubts about

    People have a right to their views and don't have to view everything through rose tinted glasses as you did when everyone else were saying Edin wasn't perfect. Why do you have to take the high ground and make out you are the only true fan.

    They can offer football of a "higher" standard in League 1 and offer entertainment unlike the crap we've had to put up with for the last 4-5 years... and please stop it with the 14k fans it doesn't mean a thing!

    Your obsessed by Rahic it’s moved on we are under new management not ownership. Management. And until proven otherwise he should be given some scope. There are posters on here praying that Sparks will fall on his face over this

    Your understanding? He hasn't publicly said it though has he?

    (I'm not saying I don't think Adams will be unveiled at some point this week because I do - but I think what Adams said earlier about no deals being done yet is correct, and unless I've missed it, this is what Sparks has implied as well).
